Batana oil pressed from the raw fruit of the American palm for hair that has been through too much and needs something genuinely reparative.

Batana oil comes from the Honduran rainforest, where the Miskito people have used it for generations for hair and scalp care. Cold-pressed from the nut of the Elaeis oleifera palm, it is rich in oleic acid, linoleic acid, and tocotrienols, a form of Vitamin E more potent than the standard tocopherol found in most hair oils. The result is a deeply penetrating oil that addresses breakage, dryness, and scalp health in a single application.

The Ritual

Apply a small amount to the scalp and work through to the ends. For deep treatment, leave for at least one hour or overnight with a protective cap, then shampoo out fully. As a finishing oil, apply a tiny amount to dry ends only. The earthy, nutty scent is distinctive and fades after rinsing.
